About Village Connect Village Connect
(launched in September 2005) is a free magazine published every
two months.
As well as being put through the doors of homes in over 30 villages across North
East Leicestershire, it is also
available in a number of shops, post offices, pubs, village halls and libraries
(including mobile libraries). In addition, we now offer a mailing service.
Village Connect is first and foremost a magazine, not a directory of businesses. It is our policy to ensure that adverts account for no more than 50% of the overall content, leaving over half of the magazine for interesting articles relevant to our readers. Village events, local businesses, places to visit, walks in the area, gardening tips plus a diary page all feature regularly in Village Connect, with lots more besides, including occasional competitions, recipes etc.
The magazine is A4 format,
