About Village Connect

Village Connect was launched in September 2005.

Village Connect is published every other month. As well as being put through the doors of homes in over 30 villages, it is also available in shops, post offices, pubs, village halls, libraries (including mobile libraries). We now also offer a subscription service so that readers don't need to miss an issue.

It is a quality magazine, not a directory of businesses. It is our policy to ensure that adverts account for no more than 50% of the overall content, leaving over half of the magazine for articles people want to read.  We have 68% fewer adverts than the average business directory, so it’s hardly surprising that their messages get noticed.

The magazine is A4 format, printed in full colour on gloss paper. It offers its readers well-written articles, interesting content and appropriate advertising.

We cover 5500 homes at present and aim to increase our circulation considerably over the next year.
