Thrussington Fun Run
The Thrussington fun run is set to be
even bigger and better that last year. Sponsored by
Lafarge concretes and Aggregates, The Blue Lion-
Thrussington, SLM everyone active and Loughborough &
Soar Valley leisure centres.
450 runners are expected for the 2010
event, please note that this event has been over
subscribed every year previously, so please get your
entries in sooner rather than later to avoid
disappointment. Each finisher receives a medal and
goody bag. Prizes for each age group male, female,
family teams and school teams. £10 cash prize for
fastest runner to beat course record set last year 9

Superb proper little cross country
course, with water crossings, hay bale challenges,
mud and undulations. A great fun course for all ages
to enjoy. Four separate races ¾ mile for school
year 6 and under, 1 ½ miles for school year 7 to
adults.
Hot dogs, homemade cakes and drinks
served post race in the village hall. Prizes also
presented post race in the village hall.
